Wonderfully M.A.D.E.
Wonderfully MADE(Motivated and Dedicated to Excellence) is an organisation delivering programmes, seminars, and workshops, which empowers individuals and encourages them to achieve their true potential.
We believe that all individuals are capable of attaining great things; therefore, developing a healthy identity is central to our core mission. Indeed, each of us can succeed and overcome challenges if we refocus on endless possibilities. Wonderfully M.A.D.E. aims to inspire, build self-esteem and in effect raise aspirations.
The organisation adopts a positive approach in addressing pertinent societal issues in order to impact lives and create change in communities. It provides a range of resources for both schools and community audiences. The intention of the organisation is to tackle a number of challenges that prevent people from fulfilling their aspirations and dreams.
Too many people in our society underachieve and see themselves as failures, and accordingly stop trying to improve their situation. As the great inventor, Thomas Edison said, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” Our programmes give individuals opportunities to strive for excellence armed with a different attitude and new way of thinking. The organisation offers practical steps to overcoming barriers.
About me
I am a retired lecturer, I taught in inner city sixth form and further education colleges for nineteen years. Prior to this, I worked as a researcher at East London and South Bank Universities.
I have the experience of working with younger children when I worked as the Assistant Director for an after-school provision in Chicago. I have set up a community project “ACYCLE” for children of African, African Caribbean and dual heritage (mixed-race) children in Ipswich, which focuses on identity and building confidence through creative and cultural activities.

I have a MA in Teaching and Learning from the University of Manchester, a BA (Hons) in Literature and a Certificate in Education. I have recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Theology and Religion from Cambridge University.
I am also a committed Christian who believes everyone has the potential to achieve great things, however, it requires a changed mindset.
